I finally got the pictures back of my lunker large mouth bass. The fish is not quite as big as I remember it being, but the pictures tell the story. There were a couple of other folks fishing that morning, so I gave the fish to them.
I went out to Canyon Lake a couple of times and have only been able to catch very small Small Mouth Bass. My next strategy is to try Calaveras Lake or Brauning Lake, which is just down the rode on Hwy 1604. There are supposed to be some nice Redfish, Catfish and Bass in these two lakes, I hope to find some of them.
