Ken wins battle of wits with Micropterus salmoides in close contest

Well, finally landed my lunker. I caught a 5 1/2 lbs. Largemouth bass(micropterus salmoides) out of Little Smoak on Saturday, using a 7" June Bug plastic worm. Saturday morning was nice and cool and the fish seemed to perk up a little. I caught a few small ones on Saturday as well. I am going to go back tomorrow morning for one last excursion before I clean and pack up my equipment for the trip back to Texas this Friday evening and Saturday morning. I will update this post with photos as soon as I get the pictures developed.

I know there are these new fangled things called "digital cameras", but I have been unable to get anything to download properly, so I have been taking pictures with a circa 1980 model 110 camera. Not the best camera for indoor pictures, but pretty good when there is sunlight, and no great loss if it gets dropped in the drink.

More to follow. . .
