Little Smoak

Hello All,

I purchased a cheap digital camera today, and I wanted to share with everyone some pictures of the South Carolina, Georgia crew. Instead of sending emails out as usual, I wanted to make this the central location that anyone who is interested can go to to find news on how things are going, and the news on the latest fish I have caught. Will start out with my favorite fishing spot, and go from there.

Above is a picture of my favorite fishing pond, "Little Smoak" out at the Lakes on Ft Gordon. I went fishing today and caught two large mouth bass, one was too small to keep, the other was too small to take a picture of. I gave it to a lady who had a tape measure (it was 1/2 and inch larger than the required 12") and a willingness to clean the darn thing. I have been using a float tube to get out to where the big ones are, but got out too late today to get the tube set up. I am still looking for the elusive "lunker". I am defining lunker as anything over 5#'s. I have been fishing the lakes hard for about a year, and the largest was about 2 1/2#'s. Hannah caught one last year that would qualify as a lunker on her first trip out, so I have some catching up to do.
